I’ve been building stories since childhood, creating worlds around 2D characters before I even knew what a director was.
At 16, I shot a stop-motion short film on a Nokia N-series phone in my boarding school dorm. I was caught filming in secret, but instead of confiscating my phone, the rector watched the footage and handed it back, telling me to finish what I started. That unexpected encouragement lit the spark.
I studied English Literature while taking a film course on the side, then assisted on a regional feature film. After moving to Mumbai, I studied Film and TV at Xavier Institute of Communication and later trained at the New York Film Academy in LA, where one of my shorts was shortlisted at the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival in 2016.
Over the years, I rose through the ranks; interning, assisting, learning the ropes on set, until 2017, when a producer brought me on to salvage a struggling campaign. The client loved the outcome, and that marked the beginning of my journey as a director.
